Mohsin Khalid is a CEO of Ittehad Steel Group and currently serving as CEO of United 1 Properties.
Mr. Khalid has held several leadership positions both in the public and private sector. Until September last year, Mr. Khalid served as Chairman of the Islamabad Electric Supply Company, (IESCO) the public utility that supplies power to the more than 20 mln residents of Islamabad and Northern Punjab.
Mr. Khalid is a former President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He has also served on the Board of Governors of the Islamabad Stock Exchange overseeing the transition towards a demutualized exchange.
He is Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, helping reach settlement in long-standing customs revenue disputes. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Overseas Employment Corporation of the Government of Pakistan. He has previously advised the government in several capacities as member of FBR’s Tax Advisory Committee and as member of the Higher Education Commission’s National Curriculum Review Committee.
Mr. Khalid has written extensively and speaks to audiences in Pakistan and abroad on governance, corporate leadership and regional trade linkages; most notably at the FNST Leadership Academy, the Frasier Institute, Lahore University of Management Sciences and National Institute of Public Administration.
